Delete your Prophet account
You can delete your account for the Prophet app, made by Prophet Scheduling LLC, at any time: in the app, or by asking us. Here is how, and what happens to your data.
Delete it in the app
- Open the Prophet app and sign in.
- Tap your profile icon at the top right to open Account.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE and tap Delete account.
Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.
Ask us to delete it
If you can't use the app, email jayden@prophetscheduling.com from the email address on your Prophet account, with the subject "Delete my Prophet account". Include your name and the business you work with in Prophet. We confirm the request comes from you, then delete the account within 30 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address, phone number and home address.
- Your sign-in. You can't sign in again, and your email address can be used to create a new account.
- Your devices registered for notifications, your notification settings and your notification inbox.
- Your membership in every team, with its roles and skills.
What is kept
- Work records you made for a business, such as jobs, notes, estimates and invoices, belong to that business. They stay with it, shown as by "Deleted user".
- Billing and payment records are kept for accounting, tax and fraud prevention as the law requires. Card payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe.
- Deleted data can remain in our backups for up to 30 days, until those backups expire.
If you own a team
Remove the other members on the Team screen first, then delete your account. If you are the only person left, your team is closed and its Prophet plan is canceled right away; its records are kept as described above.
If you are a client of a business that uses Prophet
Your details are kept by that business, and Prophet processes them on its behalf. Ask the business to delete them. If you can't reach it, email us and we will help.
More about how we handle data is in our Privacy Policy.
